Choosing your color palette: meaning a variation of hues that coordinate beautifully with each other. Today we are ready to explore this trend a little further.
Step 2: Mixing large and concentrated prints
COLOR EXPLOSION
Bold colors for a fun and playful feel.
Large print on top with a smaller print on the bottom.
MODERN HEPBURN
Give a classic look more pezazz by pairing a feminine blouse with A line skirt. Mix small prints on top combined with larger prints on the bottom to make your outfit more interesting. Finish off with a contrast color in solids just to add that last piece of character into your color palette.

NEUTRAL MAVEN
Lover of neutral hues. No need to be boring -> get yourself into mixing. In this collage, an African inspired print (concentrated print) mixed with bold stripes. All in earthy tones, so you still have that minimal feel without the zzzz factor. Adding the wedges and bigger sunglasses gives this look a very 70s retro vibe.
As you can see, step 2 is really getting more bolder with your prints by mixing to sizes. Doing this you get that polished look you see on advanced "print mixers". This step was an eye-opener for me. It made me get into color and explore the possibilities of mixing and matching.
How was this step for you? Still hanging on step 1? Or you experimented some? Tell me how you are doing so far. Share your thoughts in the comments or find me on social media: Instagram - Facebook.
